I was resting on a bench in the park, minding my own business. Then an errant high-energy experiment in the nearby physics lab zapped me into another realm. I found myself in the Kingdom of Pelsa, ruled by the orc warrior, King Jend, and his elven sorceress wife, Queen Aida.
They assigned their staff to look after me, and I underwent the rather unpleasant Intensive Language Course to learn the language, High Goblin. I lived in the kingdom for two years before they figured out how to send me back.
While in Pelsa, I came across four sagas about the nation's early days. I brought them with me when I returned to our earth, where I was unfortunately forced to go back to grad school.
I am now working to translate the Pelsan sagas. I have finished translating the first two sagas: King Jend's Loyal Creatures and Princess Wyndy's Human Friends.
The third book, which is a prequel, was just released. A fourth should come later this year.
